European Technology and Training Center (ETTC)

The European Technology and Training Centre (ETTC) was founded in Iraq in 2009 as a development foundation, specialising in capacity building, reintegration and humanitarian activities.

ETTC has a solid experience in the fields of return and reintegration and runs several reintegration projects with different European countries. All projects are designed following detailed and professional assessments by experts with support from European organisations.

ETTC strives to support people and make the reintegration process sustainable. This is achieved by offering long-term assistance and reintegration of returnees back into the local society and job market, motivating them to re-build their future in their country, rather than considering migration again. Next to the reintegration activities for returnees, ETTC also implements projects improving democracy and good governance in public administration, capacity for job seekers (local people, IDP, refugees and returnees), human rights and the rule of law. ETTC has offices in different areas of country where they can provide reintegration services, stretching from Salahadin, through Baghdad, to Muthana Basra. In Syria, ETTC is cooperating with the SMART Centre.
