About ERRIN

The European Return and Reintegration Network is an initiative of 16 European states that helps to ensure that people on the move can return home in a dignified and humane manner. ERRIN is working with local organisations on the ground in 40 countries, offering comprehensive assistance for returning migrants. Following the initial aid provided right upon arrival, the reintegration support may involve support for housing, medical treatment, vocational training and educational needs, or setting up a business.

About ETTC and SMART Centre

In Syria, we work with ETTC. The European Technology and Training Centre (ETTC) is a non-profit organisation active in Iraq and Syria, contributing towards sustainable development in the region. ETTC has been implementing reintegration programmes, vocational training and good governance projects in public administration since 2009. In Syria, ETTC is working with the SMART Centre, a local humanitarian organisation. Their main activities focus around mental health and provision of a wide range of social support services, driven by the community needs.

Considering going back to Syria supported by ERRIN?

Ask your social worker or counsellor for details. If you have already returned to Syria, contact our local partner – ETTC.
