Russian Federation

Nationals of the Russian Federation who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. Under the programme, Caritas International Belgium (CIB) is the contracted service provider for Russia. CIB has been implementing the Belgian government voluntary return programme as service provider worldwide since 2007.

CIB works with Caritas Moscow as local service delivery partner to assist returnees, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in the Russian Federation. Caritas Moscow was founded as a member of the Caritas Russia network in 1991, with the aim of providing humanitarian assistance to vulnerable groups after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Caritas Moscow has been cooperating with Caritas International Belgium within the project of voluntary return and reintegration since 2010.

Download the leaflet to find out more details about the support available, procedure to follow and who to contact.

*Currently Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Switzerland and UK use the ERRIN contracts in the Russian Federation (this list may be subject to change).
