Nationals of Nigeria who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. Under the programme, Caritas International Belgium (CIB) is the contracted service provider for Nigeria. CIB has been implementing the Belgian government voluntary return programme as service provider worldwide since 2007.

CIB works with Idia Renaissance as local service delivery partner to assist returnees, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in Nigeria. Idia Renaissance was established in 1999 to respond to the problem of human trafficking and officially registered in 2003. Idia Renaissance is now addressing a wide range of social, health and economic challenges. With activities centered on research, advocacy, education, enlightenment and training Idia Renaissance works, in particular, with children, young people, women and vulnerable groups.

Download the leaflet to find out more details about the support available, procedure to follow and who to contact.

*Currently Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden and UK use the ERRIN contracts in Nigeria (this list may be subject to change).
