Nationals of Nepal who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. Under the programme, Caritas International Belgium (CIB) is the contracted service provider for Nepal. CIB has been implementing the Belgian government voluntary return programme as service provider worldwide since 2007.

CIB works with Caritas Nepal as local service delivery partner to assist returnees, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in Nepal. Caritas Nepal was established in 1990 as a non-profit NGO and is present in over 50 districts in Nepal. Activities include Prevention of Human Trafficking and HIV AIDS, Livelihood and Resilience Program, Socio-Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth, Bhutanese Refugee Program, Return & Reintegration, Safe Migration campaign, and Humanitarian action.

Download the leaflet to find out more details about the support available, procedure to follow and who to contact.

*Currently Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and UK use the ERRIN contracts in Nepal (this list may be subject to change).
