Nationals of Morocco who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. Caritas International Belgium (CIB) and the French Office of Immigration and Integration (OFII) are the partners contracted to assist returnees under ERRIN, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in Morocco.
- CIB* has been implementing the Belgian government voluntary return programme as service provider worldwide since 2007. CIB works with Fondation Orient-Occident as local service delivery partner to assist returnees, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in Morocco. Fondation Occident-Orient (FOO) was established in 1994. Its primary activities revolve around work with young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods and promoting employability by setting up socio-educational and professional training structures. With increasing flows of migrants and refugees, the Foundation has expanded its reach to the field of migration.
- OFII** is the French Migration Agency. Part of their work is to assist voluntary returnees from France to their country of origin. OFII has offices in several countries, among others – in Morocco. These offices take care of persons after their return. Within the framework of ERRIN, OFII agreed to assist returnees from other European countries as well.
