Nationals of India who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. Under the programme, Caritas International Belgium (CIB) is the contracted service provider for India. CIB has been implementing the Belgian government voluntary return programme as service provider worldwide since 2007.

CIB works with Caritas India as local implementing partner to assist returnees, both voluntary and non-voluntary, with the first steps of their reintegration in India. Caritas India, established in 1962, has evolved in emergency response and recovery, community development, reconstruction and natural resource management, in solidarity with the community. Caritas India works for the most vulnerable and marginalised sections of society towards dignified lives and inclusive sustainable development. Since the late 1990s, Caritas India has been efficiently working to address safe migration and human trafficking.

Download the leaflet to find out more details about the support available, procedure to follow and who to contact.

*Currently Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and UK use the ERRIN contracts in India (this list may be subject to change).
