Cameroon

Nationals of Cameroon who wish or have to return from an ERRIN partner country* may be eligible to benefit from the ERRIN programme. The European Reintegration Support Organisations (ERSO) and the French Office of Immigration and Integration (OFII) are the service partner networks contracted to assist returnees under ERRIN with the first steps of their reintegration in Cameroon.

  • ERSO* is a network of non-governmental organisations involved in return counselling and reintegration support. The objective of ERSO is to exchange information, collect expertise and develop best practices in the field of return and reintegration. On the ground, respective associates of Caritas International Belgium (CIB), a member of ERSO, are the implementing partners. In Cameroon, Centre de Création d’Entreprises de Yaoundé-Consultants Associés (CCEY-CA) is there to support ERRIN returnees.
  • OFII* is the French Migration Agency. Part of their work is assisting voluntary returnees from France to come back to their countries of origin. OFII has offices in several countries, with Cameroon among them, which take care of people after their return. Within the framework of ERRIN, OFII has agreed to assist returnees from other European countries as well.

*Currently Germany and Finland use the ERRIN ERSO & OFII contracts (this list may be subject to change).
