About ERRIN
The European Return and Reintegration Network is an initiative of 16 European states that helps to ensure that people on the move can return home in a dignified and humane manner. ERRIN is working with local organisations on the ground in 40 countries, offering comprehensive assistance for returning migrants. Following the initial aid provided right upon arrival, the reintegration support may involve support for housing, medical treatment, vocational training and educational needs, or setting up a business.
About Caritas and Projeto Resgate Association
Projeto Resgate Association was founded in Switzerland in 2006 with the goal of helping victims of human trafficking. The organisation is now registered
both in Switzerland and Brazil, and assists people who are living abroad in difficult conditions, by providing a safe return to their country of origin
and supporting them in their social and professional reintegration. Caritas International Belgium (CIB) is a non-governmental organisation and works in close cooperation with Projeto Resgate to provide assistance to returnees from the different ERRIN partner countries. CIB has been implementing the national government programme as service provider worldwide in the field of voluntary return since 2007.
